Leadership

Leadership is about character, not power. Leadership is about strategic thinking, about motivating others to follow your path. It's about problem finding and problem-solving.

Leadership is about learning and change. And it's about being willing to move with the change, to leave a legacy, and to make a difference.

Make your life a masterpiece; imagine no limitations on what you can be, have, or do!

"You don't have to be the CEO, general or top dog in a hierarchy--leaders can be impactful at any level."

01

What is a Visionary Leader?

It is someone who has imagined a future different than the present and steering an institution to that future.

03

Who can benefit from Leadership Development?

You can be a leader at any level, especially a servant leader.  It's about strategic thinking and motivating others to follow your path and making a difference.

My audiences include SENIOR EXECUTIVES, DIRECTORS, as well as NEW MANAGERS, MID-MANAGERS, HIGH POTENTIALS and members of the C-SUITE or BOARD. Whether you work in a for profit or not for profit organization, anyone can benefit from leadership development. It's all about learning and change.

Senior Leadership-the Myth of the Executive Team

The people in the C Suite are often not aligned... but they need to be operating with synchronicity.

It's lonely at the top and having a coach helps you do the difficult work of translating your vision into reality.  You are not alone. Coaching creates a safe and confidential place with a coach / champion who is rooting for your success.

02

What's the difference between mission and vision?

Simply put, the mission is the purpose.  The vision hypothesizes the future image of the organization, what the organization strives to become, how the mission will be realized in the future.

04

Getting it done through other people

When moving between individual performer to manager and the job is getting it done through other people.  What you're used to doing, other people are now doing.  If you're a middle manager, you're often caught between senior level and front line, and you have to make tough decisions and answer to vertical and horizontal sides. If you get to the C-Suite, you have to think stratetically in a different way.

Board Development and Retreats

Boards of Directors in profit or not-for-profit settings need to understand the difference between policy-making and execution. Boards can benefit greatly from leadership development with a seasoned coach like Dr. Marilyn Stocker.
